WELCOME I am currently a Teaching Assistant Professor at East Carolina University. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Iowa in July 2010. My main field of study is international relations, with a particular focus in conflict processes. My current research examines the targeting, activity, and duration of terrorist organizations. I also have an interest in environmental politics, particularly when actors compete (and sometimes conflict) over scarce natural resources. Lastly, I also have a strong background in quantitative methodology.
