I am the Chairperson and Professor of the Economics
Department at East Carolina
University. I have received the BS degree from Peking University
and the PhD from the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill.
My research interests are focused on labor and health economics, development economics, and applied econometrics. My current research includes economics of schooling and child development, migration behaviors, housing choices, labor market in transition economies, and the application of high performance computation in economics. The specific papers can be found in my vita. The courses I teach include principles of economics, SAS programming, health economics, and econometrics. |
