I am a human geographer with broad interests in the areas of critical development studies; human-environment interactions and sustainability; fisheries, farming and food production systems; gender; migration; and research methods. I am particularly interested in the intersection of economic, ecological and cultural transformations and the politics of development and globalization. My current research focuses on the marine fisheries sector and fisherfolk livelihoods in South Asia.
