Effect of exercise modality during pregnancy on childhood obesity risk.

The goal of this study is to determine 1) the influence of different exercise modes during OW/OB pregnancy on infant cardiometabolic health and growth trajectories; and 2) the most effective exercise mode in OW/OB pregnancy on improving maternal cardiometabolic health outcomes.

Influence of maternal exercise on Infant skeletal muscle and metabolomics.

The goal of this study is to determine 1) the ability of regular maternal exercise to imprint key myocellular metabolic (insulin sensitivity) properties of offspring mesenchymal stem cells (MSC), neuromotor function, and morphometry; and 2) the distinct abilities of regular maternal exercise to imprint the metabolome of offspring MSC.

The goal of this study is to examine 1) the relationship between utilization of nutrition services, dietary behavior and overall nutrition literacy, and nutrition supplements and stroke-related disability, and 2) the relationship between dietary behavior, nutrition literacy and secondary stroke prevention and comorbid disease management (diabetes, lipids and hypertension), and to determine if the relationships differ across racial-ethnic groups.

The goal of this study is to identify quantitative and qualitative differences in the levator muscle, the musculus uvulae, and velar measures between children aged 3-6 years with symptomatic palatal microforms and typically developing children withnormal VP anatomy.

The goal of this study is to develop 1) a quantitative error measure for patterned injury interpretation at the population level for forensic pathologists; 2) a quantitative measure of the usefulness of image processing methods on the detection and interpretation of patterned injury of the skin; 3) a quantitative measure of the accuracy and precision of postmortem injury measurement, and recommended protocols for increasing both.
